All rules and practices regarding security and other airline/airport practices are subject to change without notice. It is best to call your airlines or check with our airport just before departure for the latest updates.

Check-in Screening

•International Flights - check in at least 90 minutes prior to departure.
•Domestic Flights - check in at least 60 minutes prior to departure.
•Adults are required to have a valid passport. Children travelling alone should also have a valid passport.
•Only passengers with valid tickets or boarding passes will be allowed inside the check-in area.
•E-ticket passengers will need proper documentation from air carriers (i.e., acknowledgment of reservation).
•Hand Luggage - some airlines may only allow one item of hand baggage, and the weight and size allowances differ between airlines.
•Check-in Luggage - some airlines may only allow one item of check-in baggage, and the weight and size allowances differ between airlines.

Note

After check-in and payment of passenger service charges, departing passengers will be able to exit the check-in area to meet with their accompanied families, relatives and friends outside until just before the boarding time. Then, they will need to show their valid boarding passes or tickets to the security staff before proceeding to the Passport Control, where they must present their valid passport, boarding pass, as well as the signed and completed departure form. There is also an e-Passport entrance for Cambodian e-Passport holders. Before proceeding to the departure lounge and gates, passengers will need to go through the Carry-on Security Screening. Therefore, passengers must take into account any possible delay in the security clearance between the meeting point and the departure gates.

Carry-on Security Screening
•Prepare for security screening, and screening lines may be longer during peak travel time and Holidays.
•Be ready to answer any questions and do not accept items from strangers. Keep your luggage and personal belongings with you at all time.
•Slip keys, coins, pens, etc. in your carry-on for X-ray in order to pass through metal detectors without incident. Minimize screening time by reducing the number of metal items on your person
•Carry proper identity to indicate any medical metal implants or medical conditions, such as diabetics and other medical reasons.
•Be prepared to open and activate carry-on electronic items such as: laptops, cameras, cell phones, etc.
•Avoid further delay by waiting to lock carry-on luggage until you have passed through screening areas.

Restricted Items

You should always check the exact hand luggage restrictions with your airlines prior to packing (if in doubt, leave it out). Widely restricted items include:
•Billiard, snooker or pool cues
•Darts
•Household cutlery
•Hypodermic needles (unless required for medical reasons)
•Knitting needles
•Knives with blades of any length
•Razor blades
•Scissors
•Sporting bats
•Tools Catapults/slingshots
•Tweezers
•Toy or replica guns (metal or plastic)

Banned Items

There are a number of items that must not be taken on board an aircraft, either as hand luggage or in the hold (if in doubt, leave it out). Do not pack the following anywhere in your carry-on or check-in luggage:
•Acids, corrosives, alkalis, caustic soda
•Creosote, quicklime, oiled paper
•Fireworks
•Flammable liquids and solids
•Gas cylinders
•Infectious substances
•Instruments containing magnets
•Instruments containing mercury
•Magnetrons
•Non-safety matches, fire lighters, lighter fuel
•Oxidisers
•Organic peroxides
•Paints, thinners
•Poisons, arsenic, cyanide, weed killer
•Radioactive materials
•Wet car cell batteries
Liquids

Some liquids may be allowed through airport security check points. They include:
•All drinks, including water, soup, syrups
•Creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, lip gloss or lip balms, mascara etc.
•Gels, including hair and shower gel
•Pastes, including toothpastes
•Sprays and pressurized containers including shaving foam and spray deodorants
•Any other solutions and items of similar consistency
Liquids that can not be placed inside the re-sealable bag must be packed into the hold luggage and checked in. Liquids of any amount can still be carried in luggage checked into the aircraft hold. Some restrictions may be applied to the quantity of liquids carried in hand luggage, which should be presented for examination.
